The Gaspard Mat is simply placed on the base of the wheelchair seat and easily connected with a smartphone using Bluetooth technology.
The Gaspard then allows the user's position and activity to be continually analysed directly and intelligently.
The App monitors weight loss, inactivity, and poor positioning of the person as it scans. It can even tell if the wheelchair cushion itself is causing issues.
As soon as a problem is detected, a notification appears on the smartphone and also supported by an acoustic warning signal.
