Cruise Powerchair for Spring 2026

ENdynamics have just delivered the new latest Cobi Cruise 2 powerchair to 'Vicky'. 

Vicky says......

After searching for an electric chair or scooter I was pointed in the direction of a Cobi electric wheelchair manufactured in Denmark.

I found a supplier up North, a bit of an ask being so far away but thankfully John at ENdynamics answered my email. "We don't have one available in the UK for demonstration unfortunately, but I will come visit you and we'll talk things through".

I suffer with chronic Lymphoedema and Lipoedema, amongst other ailments, so my lower half of my body is disproportionate to the top half, my legs can easily go up and down a stone in weight overnight, and I needed a chair big enough to not only carry my weight but also be strong enough on the leg rests and wide enough not to pinch.

I'm also 6'2" tall, so back height and seat depth would be a factor.  ENdynamics said all of this could be achieved with the Cobi Cruise chair.

I took the plunge and ordered one - taking full faith it would be suitable!

Measurements were taken for the width of the chair and an order was put through. It didn't take long for it to arrive from Denmark.

Because of my shape the chair back is adjustable and the filling in the back cushions can be removed making the seat more comfortable. I was a bit worried that the calf supports would be uncomfortable, but again I have found them to be more supportive for me.

Another positive is the footrests have large soft cushions on them instead of the hard plastic on others, I'm unable to wear shoes because of my feet. Each chair is individually made to your own specification, fully adjustable all round.

My first time in the chair I spent 4 hours riding around the patio and enjoying the sunshine. Comfortable the whole time, no pinching, nothing digging in where it shouldn't. I can't go 'off roading' as I would have liked, but I can now go out with family shopping and sightseeing in comfort, a big positive having been housebound for over 4 years.
