Newly arrived, ENdynamics are really pleased to receive our first Foicare P1W from the Foicare Factory.

Built on the same lines as the successful P1 powerchair, the P1W has been widened to cater for plus size users.

The P1W has a seat width of 55cm / 22 inches, enhanced with 23" between the standard swingaway armrests.

Wow, although the wheelchair design is definitely 'compact', the extra seat size finally allows our larger users a convenient mobility solution.

Officially rated at 160/180kg maximum user weight, we have seen the P1W easily transport 200kgs.

Although larger user weights impact on the total maximum distance achieved, the P1W is equipped with additional lithium battery storage space. This extends the total distance achievable by this excellent power performer.  The new 250 watt brushless motors ensure smooth drive to the 12" puncture proof rear wheels.

Fitted with left or right hand drive fitting, we found the P1W has surprisingly deft 360 degree handling helped by the front 8" non-marking castors.  However, the overall width of the powerchair may be too tight for door widths less than the 30" UK standard.

The seating upholstery is surprisingly comfortable for such a basic setup. The key benefit is the ability to adjust the tension seating straps which support the removable seatpad.

When it comes to storage or transportation, it is simply a case of releasing the rear seat catch and simply folding the powerchair down.  Super simple!

It is easy to see, that whilst Foicare have designed the P1W to be easy and functional to use, this wheelchair is very well engineered and manufactured to last.
