Invacare replaces Alu Lite with Action 2NG Lite

Invacare announced they have 'retired' the Invacare Alu Lite wheelchair.  The Alu Lite has long been an established favourite casual use wheelchair, and it was originally described by Invacare as a basic-entry level wheelchair being lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, even for an elderly carer, and easy to fold and transport.

All is not lost though, with the news that the new Invacare Action 2NG Transit is the super new replacement model.

But this is more than a basic replacement.  The Action 2NG Transit Lite is far better configured than the Alu Lite and provides many more extra features and benefits in comparison.

Invacare recommend exploring the Action 2NG Transit Lite replacement chair noting a shorter wheelbase, an optimized transport weight and compact design. The Action 2 NG Transit Lite offers easier handling, ideal for travelling and fitting into snug storage spaces.

A newly positioned parking brake is accessible when seated helping to maintain independence and increase safety while getting in and out of the chair. 

Plus, compatible with the range of Action 2 NG options, the Action 2 NG Transit Lite is easy to adapt and maintain when required. 

Note, the new Y-shaped backrest - improving comfort and making the chair more compact when folded and stored away. The back pocket - for easier storage of personal belongings. and the chair easily folds for storage and transportation.
