Wrap Around Wheelchair Lap Belt

Available for use with wheelchairs to provide additional support and stability (Must not be used in vehicles travelling in excess of 8mph).
Lap belt is easily fitted to backrest of wheelchair and adjusts easily in length to suit different user sizes.
It fastens around the waist with a double adjustable snap lock fastener, which is easily released in an emergency.

This lap belt is suitable for retrofitting to most manual wheelchairs and foldable power chairs that have canvas retaining screws.
It is not suitable for use where canvas retaining screws are not present.
It is designed to support the wheelchair user maintain posture and help to keep the user sat on the wheelchair canvas.
The length of the lap belt can be adjusted up to a maximum of 200cm (79").
